Mealbrain comes with a shopping list and other fine tools to help you with the tasks of maintaining your recipe database.

Scan the barcode of your favorite items directly into your shopping list, ingredients library, or pantry. MealBrain includes a grocery store library for collecting information about the grocery stores you commonly shop at. For example, if you enter an address, MealBrain can get directions and/or navigate you to your store.

MealBrain also includes Speech Recognition and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology to help quickly navigate the MealBrain software. Just touch the brain logo on the menu screens and say your command. Open your recipe library by merely saying "My Recipes". Or scan a barcoded item with a "Scan Barcode" command.

Capture images with your camera and store them in your database. Capture images for Pantry items, Recipes, Ingredients, and Grocery Stores. This way you can make sure you get the exact brand and size you desire. In edit mode, just click on the current image to launch the camera and capture an image of your ingredient or recipe. This image will be used when the item is added to a recipe, the pantry, or the shopping list. This will allow complete customization of your MealBrain software.
